Obadah Attar, D.D.S.

ENDODONTIST

Dr. Obadah Attar graduated from the Stowers-Johnson Postgraduate Endodontic Clinic at the University of Missouri – Kansas City in 2009, where he received his postgraduate specialty certificate in endodontics.

After his endodontic training, Dr. Attar moved to Boston, MA where he participated in a Postdoctoral Fellowship in Implant Dentistry and received training in surgical implant placement, bone grafts, and sinus lifts in 2010. In 2015 he received a Doctor of Science Degree in Endodontics from the Boston University Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine.

His career in specialty education promotes his clinical practice by keeping him up-to-date with recent advancements, new treatment modalities and protocols, and the latest and greatest in technology in endodontics. His close work and teaching experience at the Advanced Education in General Dentistry at Boston University helped him to better understand and appreciate the challenges and goals of restorative dentists to achieve the best possible dental care and optimal treatment outcomes for the patient.

During his free time, Dr. Attar is a technology enthusiast, enjoys spending time with his family, exercising, and reading.

PROFESSIONAL ACCOLADES

Dr. Attar was clinical assistant professor at the prestigious postgraduate endodontic program at Boston University providing both clinical and didactic instruction to the postgraduate residents. He also served as research mentor on several investigations that subsequently led to professional publication and helped advance the field of endodontics. Dr. Attar invented a controlled-release antimicrobial agent that would improve filling materials used in root canal treatment and has authored several chapters in various dental publications that are utilized in many different fields of postgraduate dental training.
