Meet the Doctor

Lauren Shin, D.D.S.

ENDODONTIST

Dr. Lauren Shin received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at University of the Pacific School of Dentistry in San Francisco, graduating as the Salutatorian of her class. Her academic achievements include the Dean’s Salutatorian Award and Scholarship, Herbert K. Yee Scholarship Award for Scholarship and Character, Tau Kappa Omega Honor Society, and Omicron Kappa Upsilon Honor Society.
After dental school, Dr. Shin attained further hospital training with a General Practice Residency at Albert Einstein Medical Center, where she had extensive experience treating medically compromised patients, and emergency patients with dental trauma and orofacial swellings. She finished her specialty training in Endodontics at Temple University School of Dentistry. Dr. Shin currently holds board-eligible status with the American Association of Endodontics and is actively pursuing board certification.

Dr. Shin is passionate about volunteering at dental mission programs and has offered dental services for CDA cares in California, Mission of Mercy in Pennsylvania, and 1000 Smiles in Jamaica. She hopes to continue volunteering for underserved communities throughout her career.

Besides endodontics, Dr. Shin enjoys many hobbies including jewelry making and sharing music on her YouTube channel. She is excited call Texas her new home with her husband and their first baby, who is due in October.
